The production of hybrid and electric vehicles becomes increasingly important. This also affects test and diagnosis of specific components. For measuring the output resistance in special cables the new cable tester HTS has been developed. Similar to the well-proven DSA Module Test System MTS-3B, the module to be tested is connected to the HTS by means of customer-specific connectors and is then automatically tested. Identification of the cable and labelling after successful test are carried out according to the customers' specifications. The HTS is designed in such a way that further customization can be flexibly realized. By reason of its modular design the HTS can be easily adapted to different cable types even later on.
